The first thing the homeowners said when they spoke to designer @homeencounters was that they wanted an emerald green inspired home.
With both homeowners managing busy schedules, they entrusted her to shop for everything on their behalf. The main bathroom is our favourite part of their home for sure and we have a feeling, the homeowners are giving it the green light.
One thing that irked the homeowners of their then-rental apartment was that they never had sufficient countertop space.
Determined to have more prep space in their new home, designer @homeencounters moved the washing machine and dryer to the common bathroom. With a luxurious U-shaped kitchen, the homeowners are both happy to cook more these days.
Initially, designer @homeencounters and her homeowners didn’t cater for the washer and dryer to be in the common bath. The homeowner flagged later into the renovation that prep space in the kitchen was a top priority as she was cooking at her then rental apartment and realised this was a peeve she could not put up with any longer.
Fortunately, @homeencounters could change the already purchased dryer (without additional charge!) to one that was more compact so it fits in nicely between the bathroom entrance and the now smaller basin (a compromise the homeowner was happy to live with)!

Home and Counters kept the living and dining spaces simple and minimal with modular pieces, but it’s amazing how the space has transformed with changing the false ceiling and lacquering the doors.
Plus a simple accent green wall to frame the bed. Sometimes, less is more.
